Subject: Which types of soda/pop/coke do you prefer in a bottle or can?

For me, I like the way root beer taste in a can, not as much so in a bottle, also prefer Wild Cherry and Vanilla Pepsi in a can.
Some others(like Mountain Dew Code Red and Livewire), I'm not too picky about.

I am pretty picky about drinking pop from a can...I really don't like that tinny taste. The only kind that I really don't mind drinking from a can is gingerale, or even Sprite/7-Up. All others I would rather drink from a bottle.

Root beer and Cream soda tastes great in a bottle. I don't mind soda from a can, though.

I don't like Pepsi or Coke in cans anymore. Use to drink them like crazy when younger.

I like my sodas out of the bottle, but I would drink it from a can if it's the only thing available.

Prefer my Coke or root beer in bottles (plastic or glass). If acan is the only thing available, I look for a glass.

My post on Friday didn't make it through(because of high stress).
I do notice that some types of pop(Regular Pepsi and Coke) taste different in a can than a bottle.
Although the flavored ones(like the Cherry and Vanilla ones), don't seem to taste any different(at least to me).

They have 12 oz plastic bottles of Mountain Dew. I prefer these over the can of MD mostly because they are cute. For awhile Kmart was selling them at the same price as a 12pk of cans and I cleaned them out... now they raised the price to $1.50 more than it cost to buy the cans >:(

I'm trying to think if plastic is cheaper or more expensive than aluminum(I'm leaning toward cheaper though).

Bottles are better for pretty much anything, IMO. I know it's just an illusion, but it seems fresher that way. I usually like "clearer" ones like 7-Up and Sprite, although I've never been that much into soda in awhile. I had enough from age 4-11 to last about three lifetimes. ;D

If I buy soda for home, it's usually in cans due to space in the 'fridge, but I perfer diet coke in the 20oz bottles. Coke in a glass bottle seems to me to be a little bit flat.

Can only get pop here in refillable glass bottles and it all tastes better. Nothing like a coke in the contoured glass.

I pretty much don't mind drinking soda from a can. The only one I like drinking better from a bottle was Pepsi. It just don't taste the same from a can then when it was in a bottle.

i am more of a bottled sprite kinda guy. I hate sprite that comes from the fountain drink thingy. It is nasty and unsweet and watered down and nasty...did i mention nasty?

I generally prefer plastic individual bottles over 2 liter bottles or cans if they're chilled in a cooler like at a gas station. The carbonation and taste change in the other forms.

For me:
These are fine in cans: Wild Cherry Pepsi and Vanilla Pepsi, Barqs Root Beer, Sprite and 7up.
But these are usually better in bottles: Mountain Dew Code Red/Livewire/Game Fuel.

When I'm at home, I like to drink Waitrose Diet Cola in cans. If I'm taking away a salad or a sandwich from Quadruples in North Finchley or a sub from Subway, then I prefer to buy Diet Coke and Pepsi Max in bottles.

I like Mountain Dew in a can, although I tend to chug those.
A couple weekends ago my sister had some Cokes from Mexico in the glass bottles. Those were awesome.
