Subject: Kraft Macaroni and Cheese

In America - Kraft Macaroni and Cheese
In Canada - Kraft Dinner
In the United Kingdom - Kraft Cheesey Pasta
I like the Spirals, but I love the White Cheddar the best. I only wish you could get the Spirals in White Cheddar. I guess I could mix and match :D

original, dude!
i always kinda liked the giant brand generic kraft knockoff. does that make me white trash?
do you like to add lots of milk, so it's all runny, or just a little, so it's sorta gooey and a little dry but thick?
do you like to boil the noodles till they're all huge and fluffy, or just till they're barely not hard anymore and still small? most people are fluffy and runny, but me, i'm gooey and small.
er, let me rephrase that...

I chose "other". I like the Publix brand of mac and cheese if I'm going for the kind out of the box. Having been a starving college student, I could buy like 7 boxes of it for 5 bucks and if you add shredded cheese and some broccoli florets afterward, you have a damn good meal right there.
But I'll take my mom's homemade over any of that boxed stuff.

OH YEAH! It's gotta' be original. My best friend and I used to fight over whether we were going to buy the Velveeta Shells & Cheese (YUCK!) or the "Blue Box" when we were roommates in college.....since it was about 1/4 of the price, Kraft always won ;)

eww... no way.. Has to be straight up. I'd eat the peas and tuna sandwich on the side, but as for me, my Kraft Original Mac and Cheese has to be straight up, with just pepper. you have to get all your food groups in one bowl for less than a dollar so the meat and peas (i put peas in everything) set you up and then you get a juice box and you meet all the daily requirements!

Where did you get the James at 15? OMG! That was so cutting edge in my time and I had forgotten about it. Lance Kerwin if I recall...
Back to the topic on hand, I cannot stand any mac n cheese except the powdered kind. I am not a brand name person when it comes to mac n cheese, the Kroger brand is okay but not just any store brand...
My husband and the kiddo pour barbecue sauce on it. Sometimes they will add sliced hot dog. They are incapable of making it without boiling the starchy pasta water over the pan onto my lame glass cooktop. I am using this fact as ammo to get a gas cooktop for Christmas.

Ok.
This is what you gotta do.
You get your macaroni and cheese right.. the original one. You do the whole deal with it, then you melt stilton cheese on top, you mix in tuna fish, ketchup, chopped bratwurst, dump in some caramalised onions, some beef and bacon then stick it back in the microwave for about 5 minutes so it all goes together to form a solid orgasm you can actually pick up with just one stab of the fork.
Excuse me, I have to change my pants.
