Cheese... Don't really have a favourite cheese. I picked "Mild" as it's the one I use the most.

"Parmigiana Reggiano" is the Real McCoy. ("Stravecchia" - old cow - is aged even longer, and is even more wonderful!)
"Parmesan" that comes in blocks, but doesn't have little crunchy white chunks of crystallized amino acids in it can taste OK, but it ain't the real thing.
That powdered stuff that comes in a can or a foil bag at the pizza place - is neither parmesan nor cheese.
Try a little of all three at once, and taste the difference!

Well there were more varieties on your list than I expected ! I have always been amazed/horrified at the distinct lack of 'proper' cheese whenever I have been to America, supermarkets seem to have processed cheese and monteray jack and that's it.In England just about every county has it's own cheese the variety is wonderful.
I love Red leicester, Double glouscester and as Wallace would say a good Wenslydale !

I love all cheese (I think I was a mouse in another life)
But I love cream cheese, and there is an unusual combination cheese that is hard to find, Salami Cheese. yum

I'll eat most (if not all), but you can't beat a strong, flavoured cheddar...
And, silly us, we never 'trademarked' the name...therefore, this type of cheese can be made anywhere in ther world and be known as 'cheddar'...
I went down there many years ago and saw how the stuff was made (and more importantly, had copious tasting samples! Delish!)

Supposedly eating parmesan that way will cure an upset stomach. Just a little Help from Heloise tip I heard.

I like cheddar, mild, medium, & sharp. I love all 3. I like smoked cheeses like smoked gouda & smoked chddar. I like monterey jack & pepper jack. I enjoy mozzarella on pizza & lasagna. I don't like blue cheese. I like provolone, and I like feta. I love good soft brie with a loaf of french bread. when I make homemade tacos, I use a combo of monterey-jack & med or sharp cheddar, & I use fresh parmensan in ceasar salads.

I adore cheese. The only types I dislike are Limburger and Swiss.
My dad and I are the only people I have ever met that like Limburger. It smells horrible but it's great! Especially on dark rye bread.

Years ago on vacation I had a very nice Welsh Cheddar at lunch in a pub. I wanted grilled cheese, but I got plain bread with cold slices of cheese. Still, it was better than going hungry. Also Had some fine cheese another time when I ordered a pasty with onion and potato(?) wouldn't have enjoyed the onion if it hadn't been for the cheese.
