I miss those Doritos 3-D's. They were great, but also expensive :o
They now have Doritos Rolitos, which is basically a Dorito rolled up into a cheese stix type of thing

I miss them too. They were very light and airy. I used to just buy the small bag of them that was $.99 at a convenience store.

Taco. That flavor isn't available around here anymore. It absolutely rocked. Since that's not avail I'll eat Salsa Verde, they're pretty dang good and Nacho cheese, but Taco will always be #1 for me. 8)

It's a Salsa, but not Salsa Verde.. it was in a Black Bag with Fiery Red.. the chips were red, almost a cherry shade.

They just introduced a new flavour in Canada called Tandoori Sizzler (which was already existant in the UK and Ireland; no other countries have this flavour according to wikipedia). It's a combination of Mexican and Indian spices. Smokin' hot and I love it! 8)

Nope. You know how there is like a pocket of air in the bag, and when you open it, all the chips fall to the bottom so the bag is half empty. You just close the very top with your fist and shake them about gently. It mixes up and doesn't break the chips.

Oh yeah. That's the one that they had pitted against another flavor in a contest decided by the consumer. They won out. I guess white cheddar doesn't taste good on Doritos. It certainly didn't sound good. The bbq cheddar ones are hella good though.

Probably Cool Ranch, followed by Salsa Verde. Oddly, even though the regular Nacho Cheese ones are the most popular "standard" brand, I never liked 'em that much (although the spicier ones are good).
P.S. Does anyone remember the simpler old logo they had before c. 1994?

A few months ago there was a "mystery" flavor that you wrere supposed to call in and vote on what you thought the flavor was. I'm still not sure what that flavor was supposed to be but they definitely had a unique taste to them

I voted for the other....The best Doritos ever were the mythical, (I'll explain) Sour Cream and Onion flavored Doritos. I used to eat these all the time in th late 70's - early 80's. They left a green "gunk" on your fingers when you ate them, but oh so good!
The reason I say "mythical" is that FritoLay for some reason even denies that they ever existed if you contact them about bringing the flavor back. This might be one of the reasons that I noticed that they were not mentioned in the post covering all of the current and discontinued flavors of Doritos that was earlier in this thread.
But despite FritoLays denial, I offer proof that they existed and I am not just imagining these delicacies.....

Going home from work, I stopped at the store to get half & half for my coffee, & some bread for tuna sandwiches, & wanted tortilla chips to have with my sandwich, so as I'm browsing for a sale I saw them & got all excited http://bestsmileys.com/happy/7.gif I almost opened the bag on the way home but decided to wait. I really hoped they would be the same taste, & they are, or at least very close to the same original flavor. Now I'm sitting here enjoying Taco Doritos that haven't been available for many many years so this is a special treat This is good 8)

I do like them, but not as well as the old faithful Cool Ranch.
But MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE - but sadly can not find anymore :\'( :\'( :\'(- is Flamin' Hot Doritos (Same name as Flamin' Hot Cheetos, and those I can find, but in Dorito form). My college years 90- 94 were full of the Flamin Hot Dorito :D :D :D :D They are the best!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish we had the Taco Flavoured ones in Canada. They look super tasty. I am addicted to the new Doritos Collisions, the only flavour of which I've seen in stores around here is the Hot Wings/Blue Cheese, plus 'Chili Cheese Lime'

Thanks for being someone else that can testify to Flamin' Hot Doritos (everybody thinks I am gettin mixed up with Cheetos 8-P)!!!!! They were spicy, but where not so hot that they did not have a great flavor. I lived on these and Pepsi ( and some Ramen Noodles) during college. Oh maybe they will come back!!!!!!!!

Thanks for being someone else that can testify to Flamin' Hot Doritos (everybody thinks I am gettin mixed up with Cheetos 8-P)!!!!! They were spicy, but where not so hot that they did not have a great flavor. I lived on these and Pepsi ( and some Ramen Noodles) during college. Oh maybe they will come back!!!!!!!!
Yeah, although I can handle hotter stuff with relative ease.

Going home from work, I stopped at the store to get half & half for my coffee, & some bread for tuna sandwiches, & wanted tortilla chips to have with my sandwich, so as I'm browsing for a sale I saw them & got all excited http://bestsmileys.com/happy/7.gif I almost opened the bag on the way home but decided to wait. I really hoped they would be the same taste, & they are, or at least very close to the same original flavor. Now I'm sitting here enjoying Taco Doritos that haven't been available for many many years so this is a special treat This is good 8)
I saw those in the store the other day and thought of you. I remembered how you said that you liked them...I'm glad you found them over there.

they're hecka good. been eating them since i was a teenager. just the right blend of spices.

They released a new flavour in Canada, but it's part of a win $$ promotion to decide what flavour it is. The bag is white with a big $ on it LOL
I can taste several different kinds of cheese, jalapeno and salsa. Dang is it ever good! 8)

i just saw Cheeseburger flavored Doritos in the store today? I was told it previously was one of the mystery flavors and has now been revealed. i didn't buy any but maybe I'll try them tomorrow. has anyone tried them yet?

There is still a pepper that outclasses the habanero. It's called the Bhut Jolokia pepper, it's scoville level is around 1,000,000.
Habanero is less than half of that, around 400,000.
