Subject: John Stewart returns to the Daily Show

The former host who hosted from 1999 to 2015 will be the regular host in 2024 starting in February and through the election in the fall. After the former host Trevor Noah left in December 2022, it was a rotation of guests hosts in 2023 including Leslie Jones, Wanda Sykes, Sarah Silverman, D.L. Hughley, Al Franken and many others plus the regular Daily Show correspondents such as Roy Wood Jr, Jordan Klepper, Michael Kosta, Desi Lydic, and Dulce Sloan. Also from May to October 2023 there was a long hiatus due to the WGA strike.

I stopped watching it after Jon left. Nothing against Trevor but he wasn't Jon. I probably would have continued to watch if John Oliver took it over but John went on to his own show.

I watch them on Paramount+. Lately I've been watching Colbert's show while TDS is on another pause.

I watched it last night and it was really good! It's like he never left. He brings light and comic relief to the current political drama we're dealing with.

It was bloody marvellous seeing Jon Stewart back. I've missed him.
Trevor Noah was excellent, but there really is only one Jon Stewart.
