I was just curious to know how widespread streaming video services have become and how many people here use them.
I am subscribed to Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime.
How about you? :)

I use Netflix. You could tell because I'm a fan of House of Cards (as mentioned in other posts).

I use Netflix primarily. Sometimes I bum my brother's HBO GO account.

I like Netflix but like other entertaining things, I can't afford it. I have watched a lot on Hulu in the past but I rarely watch any shows or movies online anymore. Too much buffering for computers. I would love to have Netflix someday though. I'm only seen stuff through others' with it

I modified it for you. People can now chose up to 7.

We have (in order of usage):
Netflix
Acorn
Disney+
Amazon Prime
We had Curiosity Stream for a while but let that go.

Amazon Prime. That's the most we want to spend on streaming. Lately it's had my favorite current show; that's enough for me.

I have accounts on a few but the only ones I actively use are the free ones. Tubi and Pluto are my personal favorites. We do have Paramount plus through work though. I have premium on youtube, not a streaming service but still a monthly online thing, because I hate ads and I watch a lot of it so it’s worth paying for. We still have cable/satellite but the company we use isn’t great so we want to switch to one we know we enjoy. It really sucks that so much is only available through streaming. Discover plus, Disney plus, etc. etc… I would much rather have things the way they use to be with good cable and movie networks as well as video stores. I’m old school that way, ha!

The Chosen. Prime has Season 2 free since a couple weeks ago (Season 1 has been free for a while). Season 3 is coming within the next few months but I doubt Prime will have it right away, might have to use the app. I saw that Netflix picked it up recently (Season 1 only??)

For me, I can stream everything that I want to watch on CTV.ca and CBC Gem. Especially if I want to watch CBC classic shows such as Schitt's Creek and any episodes of Republic of Doyle that I might have missed but I don't really see the point of streaming something online when I feel more connected to the characters watching them on TV.
But I guess whatever makes money for the show's creators then have at it. :)

Amazon Prime (though we use it more for free delivery than actual streaming)
Hulu (which I’m probably dropping soon)
Disney+
Paramount+
HBO Max
And for the free ones:
Tubi
PlutoTV
Crackle
PBS Kids
Peacock
