Subject: Hannibal cancelled - but may rise again

Acclaimed US drama Hannibal has been cancelled after three series, US network NBC has confirmed.
"We have been tremendously proud of Hannibal over its three seasons," NBC said in a statement, thanking showrunner Bryan Fuller and the cast for creating "a visual palette of storytelling that has been second to none in all of television".
NBC will broadcast all 10 episodes of the third series, despite dire ratings. Sky Living will also continue to air the show in the UK.
Meanwhile, Fuller has said he is "exploring all options" for the show's future. He recently told Entertainment Weekly he had "radical" plans for the fourth series.
