There is a local business that advertises on a local channel. They repair foundations, and such. Their slogan is "All things basementy." Every time I see that, I just laugh but I think it is a GREAT slogan. I was hoping to find their ad to place here but I have learned that they are the only business with that slogan. Not just here but also in Conn. Iowa, MN, and several other states. Don't know if they are all affiliated with each other but I still think it is a great slogan.

Oh, I love the song, I think it's beautifully done. I don't think there is anything wrong with having a sinister song or a song about a stalker in and of itself. It's just that people are so dumb and so non-observant that they think it's a beautiful romantic song and they play it at their wedding. They song does have a seductive sound, but it's not like the intent is hidden or anything.

Not specifically. My cholesterol has been borderline for years now. I do try to eat healthy-lots of fruits & veggies. I don't eat a lot of sugar. (I don't drink soda at all-I drink unsweetened tea all day long-caffeinated in the morning and decafe/herbal in the afternoon/evening) I try to limit the amount of junk (chips, cookies, pie, etc.). But, my biggest bane is almost every night, someone hands me a bowl of ice cream. What are you supposed to do when someone hands you a bowl? It is only polite to accept it. But, at my age, I need the calcium. That's my story and I'm sticking with it.

I'm sure if I lose some weight, my cholesterol will go down, too.

I lived in an apartment complex when I was a teen. The entrance had a wall with guard huts. A couple of friends of mine & I would walk to the entrance and sit on the wall that was along a numbered highway. As the trucks went past, we would do the arm pump. I really hate pharmaceutical commercials because they cost $$$$$$ and that $$$$$$ is passed on to the people who NEED it. And I often wonder how much this particular commercial cost-between the song writer, actors, not to mention air time.

That being said, I hate to admit it, that the jingle is catchy and I find myself humming, toe tapping etc. to it.

Thought he actors are obviously Latino, and I found another version of the exact same commercial online with the same actors speaking all Spanish, it still that doesn't mean that the actors weren't TOLD to speak like this, whatever their actual speaking voice or accent. It's just very suspicious to me.

As the family story goes, back around 1900 or so, the Tiberius family came into some money, and decided that they’d have the family tree traced back to their motherland, Ireland.

The odd thing about my family genealogy is that of my actual last name. According to family lore, my great grandfather was murdered in 1870 as a constable. But search as I may through various genealogy sites and news clippings, there is absolutely no trace of him. So I have no idea whether the LyricBoy family name is English, Irish, Scottish, or Welsh. One of her key selling points is where they actually measured how much the packages stunk 12 hours after a shower, both with and without using Mando. I laugh so much at her cause it's the way she demonstrates the usage of the deodorant, I don't need a deodorant on my twig and berries, that's what soap is for and if I wanted to wash my buttcrack I use a washrag with some soap.  ::)

I laugh so much at her cause it's the way she demonstrates the usage of the deodorant, I don't need a deodorant on my twig and berries, that's what soap is for and if I wanted to wash my buttcrack I use a washrag with some soap.  ::)

Can't stand Doug. I am very happy they are doing away with him.  The first commercial with the out of work actor was one of the few that I thought was amusing. I wonder if he followed a script or if they told him to just mess it up.

People don't realize that our bodies excrete pheromones which we pick up in our sense of smell. They work almost subconsciously. It is what attracts people to you. Perfumes are supposed to heighten these pheromones. It is why some people get off on sweaty bodies. Too much can turn some people off because the pheromones can be overpowering which is why we use deodorant. But, you shouldn't eliminate them entirely. Bathing regularly and using deodorant on your pits creates the perfect balance of excreteing pheromones but not too much.
