Love the expression on Dex's face as he's slowing losing grip.  The fake kills.  You can just see him spiraling out of control--- then when he attacks the prisoner you're sure its another fantasy but it's not  ;D




Dex is trying to convince deb that killing the cometary guy is a good idea....


And the way he's stripping Louis of everything!  :o


Not a fan of the Russian mob storylineyet but the fact that they've tracked victor to the marina and may be able to track him to dex's slip is making I more interesting.

Deb falls asleep in the tub and dreams its filling with blood.  I know it's deb processing and fearing accepting dex for what he is but I hope she doesn't think he killed Rita....


Well she just confronted him about Rita. He actually told her about trinity. But he seemed to skip over the important parts....how he was trying to see how Arthur balanced trinity witha seemingly normal family. Would dex himselfbe able to find a similar balance.  How Arthur's family life was a lie anyhow hewas a monster through and through Howe wanted to free Arthur's family from his reign of terror howDex had no idea he had killed Rita when he killed trinity and how he probably wished he could swim to the bottom of he ocean, reassemble and revive him.....just so he could kill him again!!!

Debs back on Rita.... Now she's trying to get Harrison away from Dex.  Oh deb...

I was going to go to bed and start this tomorrow but I can't. So, I am going to briefly run through episode 1 to remember what I have seen and then do episode 2 tonight. Tomorrow I will be all over everything else. I can't wait for hubby any longer so he will just have to catch up on his own time. lol

Right, so we pick up where Dex is heading to the airport, none of his credit cards work and he is trying to get gas etc.

Flash to Deb finding Dex killing Travis.
He explains to Deb that Travis came at him while he was doing one last forensics sweep. That Dex snapped and lost it and killed Travis.
Dex says he didin't even think about why Travis is wrapped up...

Deb wants to know if Dex is hurt...

Dex is conning the crap out of Deb (JC's acting is pretty impressive)

Dex tells Deb that they should make Travis' death look like a suicide...

Deb just became accessory - going to get gasoline to torch the place

As Dex is trying to remove any traceof himself from the crime scene, he knocks his blood splatter sample off the table and down into a grate.
Deb comes back with the gas and they torch the place. (Fire graphics are rather weak.)

They both get the call and they return to the church.

As Dex is explaining the scene, Deb looks skeptical...
Plastic on Travis' foot - Dex gets it because Deb sidetracks Masuka.
Maria tells Deb she is the hero.

As everyone leaves, Maria sees something in the grate... the blood sample.
She gives it over to get logged for the crime scene.

Dex goes hime and finds Louis in his condo - apparently he was on Dex's computer.
Louis is going to be a big part of this season... I can feel it

Dex realizes that he doesn't have Travis' blood sample

And here is Louis on his own computer, talking bad about Dexter
He is cancelling all of Dex's credit cards!!!!!!!!

Mike calls Deb wanting to know where Travis' car was ... why wasn't it at the scene?
Mike stops because there is a car on the side of the road, he opens the trunk to get the spare, sees a dead girl in there and the driver shoots Mike. Kills him.
The guy drives off and leaves Mike at the car...

Next morning, Deb shows up at Dex's and starts questioning him about how he was prepared to kill Travis. She noticed all sorts of things that Dex didn't even think about... plastic apron, rolls of saran wrap, knives... Dex explains that everything is part of his blood splatter kit.

Deb gets the call... they go to the scene with Mike

Deb has a flashback to when Rudy had her captive...
Saran wrap etc.

Deb asks for the files on the ice truck killer case...
The pictures show the same thing that Dex did to Travis.

Deb confronts Dex about the set up - how was she set up the same way as Travis?
Funny how Deb is the one to apologize for asking all kinds of questions. And then she just drops it.

Dex leaves after getting a match on the fingerprint and Deb goes into his office. Wants to look at his computer but the screen stops her.

Dex gets to Viktor's house and finds where he is flying to-
back to the start where Dex is trying to buy a plane ticket to track Viktor, of course his credit cards don't work because Louis cancelled them all
Dex spots Viktor
(Dex is being absolutely reckless right now... he id going to slip up and something is going to cause him to get caught by someone other than Deb)

Strip club - why is the owner's name failing me right now?

Ok - Dex gets Viktor
He take shim to an unclaimed baggage closet...

Deb and Quinn and Angel - nothing remembers anything about the stripper

Deb goes to Masuka

Quinn and Angel at the bar across the street - Angel tells Quinn he hasn't actually put in Quinn's transfer... boring

Viktor wakes up and Dex is taunting him.
Dex reveals he is doing this because he needs control and he needs things to go back to the way they were.
Then he kills Viktor with a plastic bag and a fire extinguisher.

Bigger problem... strip club owner called to tell that Viktor is on his way home and he will make dead police officer disappear.

Deb tries to call Dex and finds that he said he is working late, but Masuka said he was working late since Dex came in early that day... Deb is going to piece stuff together.

Dex is dumping Viktor off the boat...
Flashbacks are eerie - Harry created a monster!

Deb looking at ice truck killer pictures again
She is remembering Dex being there when she was on the table...
She remembers Rudy saying Dex can't be a killer and a hero

Maria asking Masuka about blood slides and Masuka said the only person who did that was SGT. Doakes - Maria takes the blood side

Dex gets home and Deb is in the apt and she has found everything! Dex's blood slides ... everything.
"Did you kill all these people?"
"I did"
"Are you a serial killer?"
"Yes"


Fade out

Alright - I remember where I left off now.

Seriously, this season is going to be bizarre.
Deb is onto Dex, Maria is going to find out more because the blood is going to be Travis' on the slide, the strip club owner (George is his name) and Viktor's father are going to cause problems, the freakin list goes on!!!

I am afraid that Dex is going to start doing seriously rash things and his house of cards is going to come tumbling down.

Now I am going to bed. Thought I could get 2 episodes done but I was wrong.

Episode 2: Sunshine and Frosty Swirl

And so Deb runs away from Dex
She pukes and Dex tries to help her but she pushes him away.
She demands to know how long Dex has been doing this.
She asks him if he is the Bay Harbor Butcher
He explains that dad taught him and gave him a code
That is was Dad's idea...

Deb goes back inside with Dex
Dex explains about Harry understanding Dex and his needs
He tells her about the Dark Passenger
"You gave it a name???"

Dex starts naming off the people who he has killed to justify his actions
Deb says "I am the worst effing detective in the world"

Deb just punched Dex in the face!! It was awesome!!!

Dex holds the ice truck killer hand and figures it is a message - that someone else is on to him.

Deb is researching about serial killers

Dex goes and looks for the ice truck killer hand in evidence...
Masuka walks in... and he explained about the temp that stole the hand
Masuka put Louis on the case... Dex thinks it is Louis...
"I was ready to blow you"
"Not necessary"

Deb calls a conference about Mike being killed.
Deb stops Dex from working on a case.
Shut him down.

Deb admits to Dex that she was close to arresting him this morning but didn't.
She tells him about her research
Deb offers for Dex to move into with her and she will watch him 24-7
"What if it doesn't work?"
Deb doesn't give him a choice - he has to do as she says.

Maria is going through a private lab for the blood stain - it is a positive match with Travis'
Then she calls the FBI

Quinn gets one of the strippers to talk
And so Angel and Quinn leave

Dex shows up at Debs with a bag and stuff.
Deb says Dex is going to sleep in the bedroom
Wow. So Deb is taking it better than I thought, they are going to do everything together and she says Dex has to be completely honest with her.
Dex says "My new code"

Deb wants to know how the need to kill feels.

Dex starts to explain how it feels...
"You're a sick f#$k Dexter I can't believe you are like this" lol

Deb admits the only reason why she is doing this is because she can't stand the idea of Dex spending the rest of his life in prison or worse.

Quinn is questioning the bouncer Tony Rush
Rush admits that Katja was with Viktor the night she died

So Dex is going to take over for Masuka and Deb says yep - but she will drive
Angel and Quinn come in with information about Viktor so Deb can't go

So Dex is going to try to get into Louis' penthouse and back in an hour.
Dex finds his credit card numbers and knows Louis cancelled them all

Bob Hendley??
Dex thinks that Louis set up his old partner with kiddie pornography so that Louis could take it over.

Holy crap!
Dex is insane!!! And Louis folded like a baby! (great acting by the way)
Louis tells Dex it is all because Dex shyt all over Louis' game.
"A GAME?????!!!!!!"

Dex tells Louis he never wants to see him again... anywhere.
Louis says he is done. Dex leaves.

-this was an amazing scene. The rage the MCH portrays is simply brilliant and the dude playing Louis was completely believable. Dex actually channeled his rage but didn't kill Louis. I love it!

Deb freaks out because Dex didn't answer her calls.

Dex is trying to understand how Randall just let go of his wanting to kill women.

Angel and Quinn back at strip club... George is saying he doesn't know Viktor
George goes into his office and Isaac is waiting in the office.
Isaac explains that Viktor never made his flight
The Brotherhood would protect him even if he was impulsive.
Isaac says he believes George

Quinn is going to drive Nadia home.

Maria gets box with all the information in it about Doakes from the FBI

Dex and Deb go see Harrison and freakin Louis is there!!!!!!!!!!!! Dex is going to lose it!!!!!!
Dex knows that Louis isn't scared of Dex and won't quit... unless Dex stops him.

Quinn is driving Nadia home...
Nadia wants Quinn to pick up the bill for the transmission on her car.

OMG Dex just drugged Deb's steak! Mahahaha

Louis is home and looking around - bang, Dex just got him
But Dex starts battling with himself when he sees the blood - he promised Deb
Then he called Deb
Deb gets to him and Dex explains that he couldn't go through with it and that he lost control, and all he could see was the blood and all he could feel was the pressure but he didn't do anything. He says Deb should take him in and get him off the street. Deb says that Harry was wrong and Dex does have control - he stopped. Deb thinks Dex can maybe control it.

Louis was still in the truck. Dex unloads him on a park bench.

Isaac shows up at Tony Rush's
He is there to do an exit interview lol
And then Isaac killed Rush.
Yeah this isn't going to turn out good for Dex...

Deb and Dex were talking and Randall started talking to Dex about his girl etc...
Said he would always be a killer and that he just had one more person to kill.
Then Randall takes a couple of steps and jumps infront of a semi - and graphically they show him get smoked!@!!

Episode 3: Buck the system

Dex visions himself killing the postal worker with a credit card. Hilarious
He is mailing something to Forensics
He passes Louis in the hall and its all tension
Deb keeps staring at Dex... Masuka points it out and Dex visions himself killing Masuka with a pen lol

Dex is trying to get a swab but the guy won't cooperate - Dex goes off on him and Deb freaks...
Dex explains that the only way for him to control it is to channel it... that Deb is trying to suppress it and something bad is going to happen

Deb agrees to back off a little

Dex is feeling like a caged animal so he goes and finds the file on Speltzer... his next target perhaps?
Yep, Dex is in the gym working out watching Speltzer
And Deb calls to check in on Dex

Nadia shows up to see Quinn about the bracelet that Katja was wearing...
They are going to have a date - Nadia will cook Quinn dinner

Nadia goes back to George and tells him that the bracelet wasn't with Katja
The girls are herione mules
Isaac is there
Isaac is giving Nadia a history lesson???
He tells Nadia he wants her to get close to Quinn to find out what they know about Viktor etc.
Crap - they are going to try and track the bracelet - which is with Viktor in the bottom of the ocean...

Dex mailed the hand and Masuka opened it in front of Louis with a letter wanting money back.
Masuka fires Louis. One down (but not quite I am sure.)

Randall's mom shows up to talk to Deb
She brought stuff in that was special to Randall

They just find out that Tony Rush is dead...

Dex's sitter shows Louis the video of him with the hooker.
She breaks up with Louis..

Louis is going to go apeshyt right about now.

(side note - the actor playing Louis is actually doing a really good job. I am completely impressed.)

So Dex knows that Deb is following him so he calls her into the bar and explains about Speltzer and tries to explain what he is doing. She thinks he wants her approval but he is trying to explain or justify the way he works...
Deb lays it down that nothing had better happen to Speltzer...
But Dex is going to find the proof that will convince Deb.

Dex followed Speltzer to a mosuleam sp? but Deb calls so Dex has to leave

Isaac is having the bracelet tracked and he knows that Viktor is now dead.
Shyt!!! He is going to come down on Dex.

"Great. Now my brother has a lizard brain" lol
- ok I am having a bit of a hard time with Deb being ok about this. I mean, she is trying to deal with it but they have written her acceptance too fast. Here we are in episode 3 and she is already over it and willing to take not only Dex but herself down by turning them in if he doesn't leave Speltzer alone? It just seems to smooth for me is all.

Dex and Angel are going to get DNA from Hanna but they have to stop first.
Angel goes to George at the strip club.
Dex is standing right behind Isaac. Crazy
Dex tells Isaac that he hopes he finds what he is looking for.

Angel and Dex go to see Hanna
As Dex is trying to get the DNA swab of Hanna's mouth, he drops one vial and has to start over again.
She kind of flirts with Dex but he shuts her down... for now.

Deb goes to Maria to try and get a search warrant for Speltzer's mosoleum but Maria says no. However Deb could put a patrol car on Speltzer but Maria doesn't want to see it on the budget...

Isaac tracking down where the bracelet left the marnia at
Louis is there trying to sabotage Dex's boat
Louis says that he is the owner of the boat.
He won't answer questions...
Louis finally says it isn't his boat and gives Dexter's name to Isaac...
UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, that's it for Luis. Isaac has his guy kill him. No worries there.

Dex breaking into the cemetery.

Deb is going to stop by Speltzer's

Speltzer has plastic all over his furniture.
Girl is awkward
Deb approaches his hosue
Speltzer is actin glike he is going to do something, he is creeping me out.
And he just attacked the girl!

Deb watched the lights go out but then noticed the flickering light so she goes to the hosue
Dex gets Deb's message

Speltzer dressed up as a bull chasing girl through hosue

Ok, so we don't have to worry about Louis anymore, The Brotherhood took care of him. Done
However, the Brotherhood now has Dexter's name.
Speltzer is on the loose and probably going to do it again
Nadia is in cahoots with Quinn but something is going to happen to her
Maria is investigating the Doakes file on her own
Deb understands that Dex was actually saving more lives by taking the bad ones
Dex feels like he can go back to being who he is.

This season I have a feeling I am going to be blown out of the water.
5 different story lines at this point and I am sure there will still be more to come.
And with that I will pick up tomorrow.

Episode 4: Run

Masuka and Dex are at the cemetery and Dex points out that there was something in the maze (earring is gone)

Deb in the bathtub - she dreams she is in a tub full of blood and that Dex is asking her to be his... how freaking eerie.

So Deb goes to work and greets Dex with "coffee, outside"
She asks about Rita and Trinity
Dex explains that he was hunting Trinity at the same time as the police, that he wanted to kill him because he was onto Dex. Knew his family and all the details. Deb wants to know if Dex loved Rita and he says he did. Dex also says he loves Deb. Deb can't understand it. Doesn't know how Dex could love her and love killing.

(I love the way they are writing Deb's confusion over the whole thing now. I mean, at first I was upset because she seemed to be taking it so easily, but now she is questioning everything. I still think it is going too fast, but at least they are showing her breakdown of the information. If she had of accepted it and the writers didn't continue with her questioning everything, I would have had more issues with it.)

They caught Speltzer.
They are going to question him...

Back to Isaac - he has a complete file on Dexter.
So he is aware of the connection between Louis and Dexter and the police department.
Wow. Talk about getting his panties in a bunch. Isaac gets pissed right off because George said Viktor was a loose cannon and everything went to crap when he showed up. Isaac said Viktor was loyal and was there to do what George couldn't - keep the Colombians from taking over their traffic.

Enter the police - the detective working with Quinn is hilarious!!!!!!

Ah connection - George tries to bribe Quinn by offering cash in his car, some blow... but Quinn turns him down!

Isaac says he wants to talk to Dexter.
George freaks because they have 2 boats waiting to drop off goods and they are losing money.
Isaac is going to pin something on the bartender

Angel is questioning Speltzer...
Angel set it up great!

Dex!! I love that he tells Deb good luck. He knows he wants the kill but that Deb needs the conviction, wants it so bad...
(Perhaps this is how they will end up working together. Dex doesn't kill but instead hands them over once he has caught them to Deb??)

Deb is going for the shot with Speltzer's dead mother.
OMG Deb is brilliant!!!
She kept on and on about his mother until Speltzer snapped and admitted he should have killed her like he killed the other girl!
BANG!!!!

oOo Deb is kind of attacking Dex about Rita dying.
She died because of Dexter.
Deb thinks Harrison should go to live with Cody and Astor.
Deb says Dex is like a magnet. Eventually bad shyt is going to happen to him.

Whoa, Dex saying everything is in his control. There were some actual feelings in that  line. MCH - he is blowing the shyt out of the Dex character. I love it. When that line was delivered, all I could feel was intense drive and need for control! But is Dex slowly losing it because Deb knows and is questioning him so much? Something is not going to be good I can guarantee...

Isaac and George show up at Alex's (bartender) house

They coerce Alex into writing a letter and then shoot himself in the head to take all blame. They will make sure his family is taken care of (so they say) and will never want for anything. Alex either does it or they will kill him anyway.
And guess what... Alex kills himself!~!

(I don't like Alex or George!!)

Back to Dex and Hanna comes into the office.
She is there on her lawyers advice to help them look for the bodies
She wants to know the last words Wayne said...

Alright... is this going to be a love interest for Dex? Or is it going to be another Julia Stiles thing where Hanna actually did kill some of the girls and she is going to want Dex to go on a killing spree with her? I don't know. I do know that I don't like the way she looks at Dex and I don't like the way Dex gets a little dreamy eyed when around her. He drops things and trips over himself and 'feels' things...

Ugh.

Deb goes to Maria and sees Lundy's book on her desk
She asks if it has anything to do with the Bay Harbour Butcher...
Maria confides in Deb about her researching the Bay Harbour Butcher...
Maria also says she never believed that Doakes was the BHB. Deb agrees
Maria gives Deb the file she has started on
Deb flips in the elevator

Ok - here we go again. Deb says she will make sure that the people who are in Miami and the ones Dex did, she will be sure to get them for questioning so that Maria doesn't get close enough. Really? I get that she is a co-conspirator now, but even with her trying to deal with it, she is taking it all in stride...

Isaac goes to Schooner or Later
Someone has been in Dexter's apartment
Look, it is Isaac sitting there waiting.
Dex calls his answering machine and leaves a bogus message - out comes Isaac.
Dex knows him and thinks they might have figured out he killed Viktor and have sent a hit out on him.

Damn!!! So Isaac threatens Dex with going after Deb and anyone else in the police department.
Dex admits he killed Viktor and he works alone.

Dex tells Deb about Isaac and Viktor and shyt.
Dex tells Deb that he found Viktor's fingerprint at the scene and didn't turn it in.
Now Deb is blowing a gasket because she has to keep more information from the police when she is LT. of the homicide division.

Dex says he is going to take care of everything because Isaac thinks everyone at the police are in on it.
Dex is going to protect her and they have to go certain ways all the time.
Deb just wants him to promise to never take another case from the police...

Dex starts to stalk Isaac.
He finds out that Isaac is a boss.

Hanna is showing which trophies go with which murder.
She became nostalgic over the giraffe and Dex witnessed it.

Dex and Deb are in a cheap motel and Dex has a plan - he says he is not killing anybody.
sidenote here - when they went to Myrtle Beach, Dex watched Deb like a hawk because he didn't want her to drown... Deb reveals that Dex was her hero.

Dex tells her that the spatter tells a story that conflicts with Hanna's story.
Dex tells her that Wayne didn't kill the woman. That it was someone smaller
DEX IS AMAZING!!!!!!!

Then there is Isaac.

And the pursuit is on.

Isaac walks in
Dex says it is unfortunate that he doesn't get to take care of Isaac but at least the death will be masked by the hatred between the Russians and the Colombians. Dex is a tricky dirty fellow. lol

Deb is looking through the pictures and says "who is saving whose ass now?"
Angel is about to talk to Deb about Alex's death
He gets a phone call about homicide at a Colombian bar...
Tells Dex and asks if he knows the bar - Dex says nope
(I bet 10 to 1 that Isaac isn't dead or anywhere to be found)

Ha! I was right!
Man - Deb is crapping her pants.
They need to be looking for the Terminator lol

Quinn goes to the strip club
And George tells Isaac about Quinn being corrupt a while ago
Quinn gets in his car to find a bag of money - which he puts in his glovebox

The blood proves to be Isaac's.
He is arrested and looks Dex right in the eye with a smile

Angel comes back to speak with Deb
Awww shyt. So Deb tells Angel to back off. Mike's killer is dead. Let it go. She orders Angel to quit.
I don't know. This doesn't sit well with me

You could see the personality shift in Dex as Isaac was telling his story about his grandfather.

Dex realizes that Deb just saved him.
He said thanks.
She doesn't want to be involved in that part of his life.
She knows he won't stop but she doesn't want to know about it.

It was because she had to lie to Angel that she doesn't want to be any part of who Dex is.
Everything that Dex is, isn't who Deb is.

And so Dex tells Deb there isn't anything she should know about the blood report from the dig... he is going to set his sights on Hanna I bet.

He lights a match and burns the picture.

Episode 5: Swim Deep

Love that scene...  if I remember correctly she specifically asked for that scene...she needed to have Deb have an Oh Shyt/WTF moment!

I never got the feeling she was taking it in stride...  at first she tried to "fix" dex by controlling him... I think now she realizes she can't fix him and certainly can't  control him... she still hates it and she's conflicted by it but she also (in the case of Speitzer) sees a value in what dex does but she still hates it...  I think with these scenes you need to read between the lines a little more and look at her facial expressions/eyes to interpret what she isn't saying...

Episode 6: Do the Wrong Thing

Dex is watching Hanna
And all Dex wants to do is give her what she deserves...
Dex is trying to figure out if she killed her husband or not but Harry is trying to convince him otherwise.

They are making sure that the case against Isaac sticks.
Deb gets pissed because Dex is late

Dex wants to give Hanna a peace offering so he can lure her in.
And because Hanna has immunity he isn't really taking a case from the Police

Isaac us threatened by one of the inmates but Isaac turns the tables on him and threatens him back by busting his hand.
And conveniently Isaac has a cell phone in prison... he calls George.

Dex is out stalking Hanna
He finds her in the backyard "great, you're a stalker"
He gives Hanna the faked documentation about the deaths of Wayne's victims...
She says thanks.
Dex brushes dirt off of her face.
He wants to buy a plant in order to keep up his facade.

Dex gets her to talk about her husband - he passed away, unfortunately
He says he is a morbid guy
He asks about her husband and then offers his shoulder... talks about Rita {here his voice breaks. Is this Dex playing the roll he thinks he should, or is it Dex actually feeling something? I want to believe he is feeling something, but when he assumes the roll he has to play, one can never really tell.}

Hanna wants to change the subject from the doom and gloom of their spouses deaths
Dead husband
Dead mentor

Hanna took over the nursery when her mentor died a year ago...
Hanna gives Dex the plant as a gift.

Now Dex thinks that Hanna has killed her husband and Mentor
Her mentor Beverly left Hanna everything in her will.

OMG Harry "Heart disease is the leading cause of death in this country" :P

Deb is walking around with an Author - Sal Price
Dex is excited he is here but shyt - Dex fudged the blood reports and Sal is going to look at the files.
Sal asks if Deb is single.

Sal thinks Hanna needs her own book...
After juvy Hanna claims sexual harassment by a counselor. Counselor gets off, slap on the wrist, but 2 weeks later drops dead - rat poisoning.

If Hanna is indeed still killing she is doing it with the rat poisoning. Her husband and Mentor both I bet
This seals Dex's theory about Hanna

Sal asks Deb on a date and she asks for a rain check...

Quinn meets with Nadia and shows her the cash
"What good is money of you are dead?"

Quinn goes in the bar and gives the money back to George
George simply says "Take care of yourself."

Dex is in Sal's
He copies all the files Sal has on her and takes a pic of Beverly's blood work...

Jamie and Angel out for lunch
He asks if she has heard from Louis
Angel is thinking about buying a restaurant.
Jamie slaps down his idea saying he can't hardly pay rent and he has a broken down trans am and he is divorced. Ouch

George and henchman go to see Isaac in prison
Isaac says he really doesn't want to kill anyone in prison because it would delay him being released.
He wants to know about Quinn and George tells him he returned the money which is weird because Quinn never turned down a payout before. Isaac tells George to not let him down.

Quinn meets George for dinner... he thought he was meeting Nadia
Quinn threatens George that if he hurts Nadia he will hunt him down and kill him.
George advises that she is a high priced commodity and they wouldn't do that unless it was absolutely necessary.

So Isaac wants Quinn to lose the bloodwork linking him to the Colombians deaths. Once that is done, Isaac will leave and go back to the Ukraine never to be heard from again (yeah right.)
Quinn tells him to find someone else - what happens is Quinn doesn't help?
George tells him he will send Nadia to Dubai - Quinn says if he does this Nadia is a free bird. George agrees and says Quinn can keep the cash.

~ Ok seriously?? George just puts a brown paper bag of money on the plate in front of Quinn??!! That is ridiculous. No one freaking does that in public. C'mon! ~

Deb goes to see Maria

Ah shyt!
So Maria starts to look deeper and decides that the Bay Harbour Butcher took out murderers before for the police. She linked the barrel girls and Jordan Chase to possibly being killed by the Butcher.

Deb shoots down the idea. Maria says it is still worth looking into.

Dex is looking at the files he stole from Sal.
There is a purple flower on the property that is poisonous and it showed up in Beverly's bloodwork.

Hanna brings a plant to Dexter because he chose the wrong one. The new plant looks like blood splatter.
Dex knows he should tell her to leave but he invites her in.
She puts the plant in Dex's room...
Is there attraction going on here?

Deb calls and Dex goes to her place
Deb is asking about the Julia Stiles character.
Deb says they were together, like a couple.
She says Lumen
Deb is a freaking brainiac!
Dex admits that he felt guilty about Rita and that he thought if he helped Lumen he would make things better.

Deb kicks Dex out of her house
Dex thinks "I really need to kill someone"

this is how jam packed this season is... I thought Sal's arrival happened two episodes ago!  :D

Dex goes to Hanna's place and talks to the handyman.
Handyman tells Dex that Hanna took care of Beverly all on her own, doctors, food etc...
Handyman tells Dex the wildflowers are in the southwest corner

Dex finds an entire section of the purple flower
She has harvested some of it already
Harry thinks she is after Dex
She catches Dex and invites him in...

Dex won't drink the coffee because he thinks it might be poisoned.

Hanna wants to know what Dex is up to
Hahahaha! Dex admits "I wanna take you out"
Hanna "on a date?"
Dex, looking flustered because he said it out loud "... that'll work"
She says she doesn't date because she gets too attached.

He convinces her to go out on a date with him
(insight - she admits that she didn't care that Wayne was the bad guy because she had convinced herself that he was what she needed, she felt so empty before him, that he had to be the answer. She wanted to see snow at some dingy Santa village thingy... she was sad she never got to see it.) {I bet Dex takes her to see it before he kills her}

Quinn still cannot get in touch with Nadia.
Angel stops and asks Quinn if he thinks that Angel is impulsive
Masuka walks in then tells Deb Angel is thinking about retiring.
Deb talks to Angel
Angel says he thinks he is burnt out - he is so focused on work that he forgot to have a life.
Deb tells him his dream isn't crazy at all

Deb calls Sal
And says yes to a drink with Sal

Quinn goes to files and asks for the case on Isaac.
Then he sneaks into the fridge and takes the blood sample

Deb and Sal on a date...
Sal admits to Deb that he thinks that Hanna is a killer and kept right on killing...
He consents to show her his files on Hanna

Sal tells her that his blood guy says it was someone smaller who killed the first woman...

Dex takes Hanna to the Santa place.
And she puts her hand in Dex's... he isn't going to be able to do anything I bet.

He turns on the snow for Hanna

OMG I was wrong! He just stuck her with his needle!!!!!!

Ok seriously??!! Dex! You can't do this! Sal is on the case and now so is Deb. This is going to spiral out of control!!!

But instead starts to make out with her?

They get close... he kisses her
I think Deb will end up more interested in Hanna than Sal

Dex and Hanna say the sex part can't happen again
Dex isn't going to try and kill her again

OK - editing error. A motorcyclist pull sin front of Dex and slows down, gives him the finger when Dex honks. Dex says "Boy did he pick the wrong car". Cut to them driving away and there is no motorcycle in front of them on the road. lol

Dex drops Hanna off
Why is it that Dex is now telling people what he does? Is he looking to get caught?

Dex looks and Sal is sitting outside of Hanna's house...
Dex offers that he was the last one to speak with Wayne Randall in order for Sal to keep quiet.
Sal says he will think about it

Deb and Maria - Maria says her theories are at a dead end.
Deb tells Maria that maybe they have been sidetracked because of their feelings for Doakes and that they should rethink what they are doing in the research, Maria says maybe Deb is right.
Deb says to herself "I am effing going to hell"

Dex is trying to find something he can use against Sal but can't find anything
Deb shows up and asks Dex about his blood splatter from the Wayne Randall case
Deb says Hanna killed this woman and that Dex is protecting her, saving her for his table... if she only knew lol

Angel tells Dex that Isaac's team are coming to test the blood found at the scene, Dex isn't worried because he knows he has him.
Masuka comes in and tells them that the blood sample is gone.
Maria is fuming!
Masuka says there is a mole and of course Quinn tells him to simmer down
Dex and Masuka and Quinn go with Dex to the crime scene to see if they can gather another blood sample.

They get to the bar and the sewers have been messed with in order to contaminate the scene.
And Quinn just pulled one over on Angel and lied right to his face.

Deb tells Dex that he can't do anything to Isaac because she is going to tail him everywhere he goes.

Sal gives Deb information but he looks for a way in to get more info for himself. Ugh. This ass is using Deb!

Quinn finally sees Nadia.
I think that Quinn is going to end up dead this season.

Isaac is out of prison.
Isaac tells George that he isn't going to Kiev yet, Miami is overcrowded... by 1

Deb asking for permission to exhume Hanna's first husband...

Sister agrees

Sal at Hanna's
He is blackmailing her to talk to him and she agrees.
Sal calls Dex and tells him that he is going to take him up on the Wayne Randall offer - he is going to mess shyt up
Now Dex is thinking that Sal killed a co-ed in college - he just needs the dna to prove it

Quinn meeting George.
He wants Nadia's passport and everything - she is done.
George says he doesn't think so.
Quinn's next move defines his future... and Nadia's.
Well, there is the veiled threat.

Dex goes to see Hanna
He tells Hanna that Sal saw them together.
She admits about going on the record - he is blackmailing them both.
She tells him that he is afraid to admit that  he enjoys killing - she admits she doesn't. Wow. There is the confession.

You know - there is actually real chemistry on screen between these two. Even though  am not into the storyline itself, MCH is definitely portraying amazing chem. with this Yvonne actress. Who would have known she is Australian??!!

Dex debates why he is walking away from her when she accepts him for everything he is.
Because like some chemicals, they combust.

Husbands remains have no flesh.
He wasn't embalmed.

Deb meets with Sal
Meh blah blah blah.
Deb is getting closer to him and opening up... we know something is going to happen

Sal meets with Hanna (Actually it is supposed to be Hannah but meh)
He says he never heard of Dexter Morgan...
(He is going to backstab someone)

Dex getting Sal's DNA to plant at a crime scene
Is he smelling something?
Dex isn't thinking properly...
He shreads everything on the computer about Hanna

Hanna is telling Sal about the husband and wife...

So as Dex is telling Sal about planting evidence to convict him with the co-ed's murder, Sal gets up screaming, grabs his chest, suffers what looks like a heartattack, hits his head on Dex's coffee table! Jamie comes in and Dex tells her to call 911

Sal is dead.
Quinn qiestioned Jamie and she said there was yelling and it wasn't Dex's voice
Quinn asks Dex and he said that Sal accused him of sloppy blood work so he might have raised his voice a bit
Quinn has a strange look in his eye

Deb walks in
Oy.
So Deb tells Dex that Hanna had to have done it because of everything that Sal was collecting on her about the poison and stuff. But Sal didn't drink the lemonade that Hanna offered him. Anyway, Deb said she is going to pick up Hanna for questioning because she is not going to get away with it this time.

Hanna comes in but doesn't look concerned at all
Whoa Deb - I get that you needed to bring up the Baby but it was kind of a low blow. But I get it.
I don't know that Hanna did anything this time.

Dex goes to Hanna's
SHYT she did do it!!!!!!

And Dex admits that he took care of the book...
OMG here we go with the chemistry again
She did kill her husband...

Ugh. and they go at it

Quinn gives the money to Angel for his restaurant.
Angel: "This is a loan you asshole" mahahaha

Deb looking over evidence
Masuka brings in the tox screen
Nothing detectable

Maria is looking at boat registrations
She sees that Dex has a boat registered.

Deb listening to the recording that Sal made of Hanna

Dex and Hanna in bed
He can't stay away from her
He asks if this is what love feels like...

Deb calls Dex and tells him that Hanna killed Sal and that she will walk but they deserve justice and Deb wants Dex to take care of it and do what he does.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a brilliant dialogue between Isaac and Dexter.
Love makes us do things we wouldn't otherwise consider doing.
In a different time, different place, under different circumstances, Isaac thinks he and Dex could have been amazing friends.

How brutal. And the filming was amazing. The actor made me feel so much in just one shot. I went from hating him to feeling sorry for him.

I think Isaac is going to turn to Dex for help

And here we see the real Dex... his reasoning.
He has been tasked with two hitmen and the girl he 'loves' is in danger and he wants to get something to eat. Isaac can't comprehend it.

Isaac tells Dex that he sucks at his relationship.

Isaac pulls the gun on Dex but Dex figures out that Isaac feels guilty because he sent Viktor to America, over his head and he couldn't handle it. Isaac feels responsible. Isaac says no, but Dex tells him if he believed Dex was the reason Viktor is dead, Dex would be dead already. I love it

George calls Quinn and leaves a message
Ugh. Because Quinn won't answer George is going to use Nadia to get to him

Dex is thinking about Hanna and their relationship blah blah

He zooms in on the pic and sees a signed soccer ball
Dead mans house, perfect place to hide out

And the other hitman is there - he took the bait.

Dex of course picks up on the phantom again
someone wearing a protective suit
watched the victim burn up and then vanish

Dex asks Deb to look into the dead men's homes

Dex calls Isaac and tells him the bait has been taken
He is to lead the guy to a location

Ok so Caffery calls George and tells him he is tailing Dex to the port.
Not sure exactly what Caffery is trying to convey but I know if he sees Isaac and Dex, Dex is going to do him in.

Nadia has her bikini on
Quinn shows up
She tells Quinn that George had sex with her
Quinn launches George through the window and beats the crap out of him.
Says "consider that her notice"

ok so Hanna tells Yurig that she can make him something other than corn flakes, she needs tomatoes but he won't let her out to get them so he goes... Hanna is going to do something - poison - and Yurig is gonna end up dead!

Deb tells Dex there is a house on Coral road, Dex tells her not too but Deb is going anyway.
Dex is leading Caffery into the trap...
And Isaac kills Caffery.

Tom offers to help her
He says he knows a lot about some of the names on that list

They throw their weapons overboard the same time.
Isaac walks away and Dex stays to clean up the ship

Deb is at the house
She calls for backup and an ambulance

Dex is out on his boat... with Isaac
Oh his favour is to be dropped into the ocean with Viktor.
That is brilliant

Isaac is telling Dex he needs to say something poetic to Hanna when he sees her again
That Dex is afraid to live
But Dex says he is not afraid
Death has always calmed him, it is soothing and inevitable

But with Hanna he feels like he doesn't have any control and he is not sure if he wants to move on
Isaac says he was like Dex until Viktor. Never having to hide. Finally alive.
Isaac tells Dex that there is hope for him yet! Then he dies.

Deb is asking Hanna if she knows why she was taken

This catty-ness from Deb is not so becoming but I love how she says she was doing her job by saving Hanna's life instead of letting her die. Hanna wants to know if she did it for Dexter and Deb says NO. It's abotu time I start doing shyt for myself.

Dex is honest with Hanna
He doesn't say I love you but he conveys that he was scared when he thought he would never see her again
He doesn't know where their relationship is going but maybe it is supposed to be out of his control.
He lays down with her, but her face tells me a different story.
And as it closes, Dex tells her that with her he feels... safe.

Freakin' Dex is MAD! The switch is amazing and he scares the shyt out of Dad when he tells him to get the hell out of there.
Hanna of course is having what appears to be a nervous breakdown... yeah, she or Dex are going to go after daddy.

Maria is meeting Tom
Tom tells her that Dexter is a waste of time
They should look into the cabin in the Everglades, where Doakes died.

Dex made breakfast for Hanna
She hopes daddy is gone for good - Dex gets a look
Now Hanna kind of understands the dark passenger
"Does it just take over? Where do you go? Does Dexter Morgan just disappear?"
She is trying to disect Dex. It is more like a feeling.

Ok so the security tape shows that they might have a print for the phantom
Deb says get it

Tom and Maria go to where the cabin used to be and find out that the owner was renting the place out to some dude at the time of the BHB and Tom says the name sounds so familiar.

Ok, so the guys name is one of the 3 men who killed Dexter's mom.
The hit was put out on her because the drug lords found out she was Harry Morgan's CI
She was butchered by him.
Maria finds out that Brian Mosier was Dex's brother.Maria is right on top of all the information

"What if Doakes was on to Dexter? What if Dexter is the real Bay Harbour Butcher?"
Tom says he will talk to Dexter and Dex trusts him.

Hanna's dad shows up at Dex's
He is there to bribe Dex.

Turns out that Sal was paying daddy to give him tidbits on his daughter
He is threatening to send Hanna to jail unless he gets money because he is knee deep in gambling debts


Deb is at club asking Quinn questions
Angel knows there is a difference in the times and wants the truth
Quinn tells him he has the truth

Dex and Hanna
Arlene is the only person who can put Hanna in jail

But she says she can't kill her father
She is going to call the bank

Dex knows Clint does not meet the code

And here is Joseph pulling stuff out of his trunk and presumably going into his house...
He goes down to the basement and takes a bucket of kerosene out

Ah no - Clint called Deb and gave Arlene's name as a witness to Hanna killing the counselor.

This might be a little bit muddled as my thought process on this entire episode is running wild.

Dex had several epiphanies.

Dex is realizing that he is completely responsible for every single death he created. Just because something happened to him as a child, it should not have defined who is became as a youth and adult.
Dex is realizing that he actually knows what love is, not the kind he had with Rita but the kind he now has with Hanna.
Dex is realizing that Hanna understands him like no other person ever could.

Tom and Maria are closing in on Dexter.

Deb is closing in on Hanna.

This is all going to hell in a handbasket.
Something is going to go wrong, something is going to pin Dex and something is not going to be good.

I honestly don't know what else to say at this point.

What I think bothers me the most is that even though the whole DP doesn't exist, Dex isn't as rattled as one might think he would be. He accepted it so easily? So now he knows that all the killings he did was because he wanted to and not because the DP needed to be sated? How does he accept this so quickly? And if the theory is that he accepts it because of Hanna - I call BS! Dex is this complicated severely jacked up individual because of Harry's teaching and Dex being molded - for everything to drop away so quickly doesn't make freakin sense. None at all to me.

If you have a different theory Q - please share because I am actually a little bit pissed about this bit of info in the episode.

Dexs entire exisitance hinged on who he thought he was.
I think he thought he was incapable of feeling love because he was taught that he was (by Harry)
But Dex cares deeply for the people he's close to...and he loves them.

He loved Rita - remember how he grieved for her?
He loves deb (not in that way thank god!)
He loves Harrison
He cares for Rita's kids
He cared for lumen
He loves Hannah
He cares for his coworkers (well except for Quinn) lol

He's like Dorothy freaking gale.  He has had the capacity for love inside him the whole time he just didn't know it....technically I guess he's the tin man but you get my point  :D

What I think bothers me the most is that even though the whole DP doesn't exist, Dex isn't as rattled as one might think he would be. He accepted it so easily? And if the theory is that he accepts it because of Hanna - I call BS! Dex is this complicated severely jacked up individual because of Harry's teaching and Dex being molded - for everything to drop away so quickly doesn't make freakin sense. None at all to me.

I don't think he " accepts " so much as he's rationalizing it.
It's not because of Hannah it's because he hasn't, I think, learned how to feel true guilt and remorse. He was trained his whole life that this is who he is- he created the dark passenger as an excuse or a crutch. The knowledge that his entire life philosophy is bs should crush him but I don't know if he knows how to deal with that revelation yet so he suppresses it.

My thoughts...

This was a crazy rollercoaster season.
When the series comes back in June (which is not its normal return time) I am pretty sure it will be the last.
Deb is a killer now too
Hanna is on the loose
What are they going to say when Deb's bullet is found in Maria?
Maria's cell phone is going to show who the last call was

Could be that because Dex finally killed the last man responsible for his mother's death, that he is done - he won't kill anymore, but I highly doubt that.
No one is going to be safe when it comes to eating food or drinking water haha
And I am still confused about The Brotherhood... because George is dead now the Brotherhood just disappears?
And what about Nadia? She just walked away with the money and her so-called freedom?
Deb isn't going to be able to deal with what she did

There are so many things that right now I can't even wrap my mind around it.

I do know that I love this show and I will be sad when it ends.
