How was your birthday celebrations, a good meal out, see movie or show?


My birthday fell on the long weekend again (when I was in uni, we usually got a whole week!) so it's been more of a "birth-weekend"!

On Friday (my actual birthday) they threw a small party at work and I got cake. My co-worker had a reservation at a Chinese hotpot restaurant. It was Chinese New Years the same day so it was packed, we still had to wait like 30 minutes for seats :o It was scrumptious though. Then I got home my mom had another cake waiting for me, I cut that, and then I went to go watch Black Panther with my family and some friends. When we go to that theatre we usually eat at the Chinese restaurant right next to it, but you-know-what was happening, so I ate at Burger King instead ;D

On Saturday I went with my boyfriend to visit his mom in a small town a few hours from here. That was another cake. I went ice fishing, so that was something new. On Sunday I went to Hamilton (my hometown) and got together with some old friends and we played some video games. My friend made the most delicious cookies, I'll call them birthday cookies. ;D

It's Monday now and it's a holiday. I have some relatives coming over. :)
