Thanks for the wishes, everyone! (And karma+1 to all.)
I have had a nice time today...but it's not over yet. In a couple hours I'll be going to my Bible Study, where I have some friends who I've been in close contact with for more than a year (and for some of them, longer than that). I will be celebrating with them this weekend at a restaurant for birthday dinner.
Earlier today, my parents took me to the mall, where I got some nice shirts and a pair of pants for myself. Then they took me out to lunch at an Italian restaurant which I enjoy. Then we came home and I had cake. :)

It sure was. 8) I went to my Bible Study this evening and those who showed up were uncertain about whether they'll show up this weekend to the restaurant for that event. But they should let me know by Saturday in the morning. One of them (Jenny) said she's gonna make the reservation, and will let me know one way or another (phone call, email, facebook) who all is coming.
