Basically.....

on the 6th I went to an event honoring the Donna Reed Show...it was to commemorate the release of the season 4 (the lost eps) dvd. This dvd comes out next week but we were able to buy it early and get it autographed!

it was a great night....great stories. the best part of the night? I got a pic with MASH's Mike Farrell and I got one of only two pics with Pau & Patty Petersen and Shelley Fabares (ill post those in the famous pics thread tomorrow ---- i mean later today)

Then on my actual birthday my friend scored tix to see the Soup taping! It was crazy. I got home at midnight and had to turn around and wake up at 5 to leave by 530) I was a half hour late...that messed me up because traffic was horrible (of course) my 90 minute drive took 2.5 hours....as I said elsewhere it took me 45 mins to drive 10 miles.

The cool thing tho, was that I got to meet Ken Jeong (the Hangover & Community) in the Elevator. he was super cool and polite...we do what la folks do in an elevator at 845 in the morning---we talked traffic ;D

Most of the cast of Community was there and I love community! I wanted so bad to talk to Yvette Nicole Brown because are tweeps but she left before I the taping ended. I ddn't think she saw me but a tweet from her later told me she totally saw me! 8)

went to one of my favorite restaurants for my favorite foods...

then I went to the taping of Mike and Molly...
Holly Robinson Peete was there it was fun talking to her...she signed a 21 JumpStreet pic for me...now I need the stars to align so I can meet Johnny Depp and get him to sign it too!

Cleo King, Nyambi2, Reno Wilson, Melissa McCarthy, Billy Gardel, and Katy Mixon all said nice things to me... it's so cool that they remember me... well Cleo and I hadn't met before but she tweeted me a happy birthday - I had tweeted about going to Mike and Molly for my b-day... and she sent me a really cool tweet today too!!!

Basically it was a star explosion for me the last couple of days... I'm exhausted...and as much as I'd like to meet them (and whoever shows up in the audience) I'm going to skip the Lucie Arnaz, Desi Jr event at Paley...it's a cocktail thingy which means I'd have to dress up... it'd cost me another $45 in gas and well I'm just so dang tired from yesterday....

but still totally worth it!!! :D

Technically the fourth time...but this was an unstructured completely one on one meeting. Brief, obviously, but long enough to shake his hand, remind him we met at two paleyfests (I didn't mention Paley Fall preview where they premiered Community - that's when I didn't know who he was....although I found out later I had seen him on Oprah- he won funniest Dr in America then became an actor) :) and discuss the fact that he lives in Calabasas.

the karma gods weren't too kind to me....unfortunately I've been sick since Thursday.

I missed my last three events...

Lucie & Desi Jr at Paley
a free screening of the Tom Hanks Sandra Bullock movie
and a green event that was going to have several celebs in attendance.

I'm not complaining tho I had a great birthday...I just wish I didn't have to be at work today- I still need to be in bed.
