Gis you know me too well - thats where I have been - living in the land of musicals!!

Due to some not so nice stuff going on in my own city - I decided to travel away for my 40th this year. So it was off to Sydney for me where I was treated to a 4 hour harbour dinner cruise with friends from Sydney, Melbourne and one even came in from Dubai !  A gorgeous 3 course meal, lots of champagne and lethal cocktails, great company and the stunning harbour views where we were treated to an incredible lightning display in every direction.

Then the next day 2 friends drove me about 3 hours west of Sydney where we spent the weekend at Jenolan Caves. Its a giant cave system with an uncountable amount of caves to explore. We stayed in the hundred year old guest house up there and enjoyed great meals (more cocktails) and lots and lots of walking and steps!

Then for the rest of the week I had front row centre seats to my favourite musical Priscilla Queen of the Desert. Its a new encore season before it travels to London so I attended the 4 previews then the opening night.

I flew home late last night and it was back to the real world today.

So a week long 40th birthday celebration. Really it couldnt be beaten !!!!

Its heading your way next March and you are getting an utterly fabulous Aussie to play Bernadette. I am heading over to see it in April and May - 20 years since I moved to London to live the first time round so kinda an anniversary for me of sorts.
