I'm not really planning on doing much... might go out for dinner, but that's about it... just another day, bah humbug. It's not a holiday... yet.
May you never again use a jackhammer.
I got the sump pit installed, and it stayed bone dry the last time the basement got wet... so it looks like I'll be making a nice long trench under the floor to feed it. Kind of my worst case scenario, which was that there wasn't enough crushed stone under the floor to allow the water to find it's way there.
Of course I never used a jackhammer. Sledgehammer was the primary means of rock removal.

We stayed home and had left overs and then ice cream cake after Neal went to bed. We were both exhausted and Neal was having one of his wild and crazy days, so I believe we even went to bed early that night. Fairly uneventful day all around.
Yesterday was more exciting for me... the excavation crew came to begin the work for the foundation for the new addition to the house. It's been delayed by the town, the weather, and then the crew themselves due to their truck having mechanical issues and being out of commission for a week.
