Michelle Trachtenberg, best known for playing Dawn Summers aka The Key on Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Georgina Sparks on Gossip Girl was found dead at her home. She was only 39.

The star of Nickelodeon's first movie, Harriet the Spy, I had a huge crush on her when I was a kid. At some point she moved to TV full time and I lost track of her career. I was aware of her on Buffy, but I didn't find out about Gossip Girl until years later. I think the last thing I ever saw her in was Killing Kennedy where she spoke Russian. Either that or the Robot Chicken where she played Harriet the Spy all grown up.
I will remember her for Harriet the Spy, Pete & Pete, miscellaneous Nickelodeon work (Figure It Out, and episode of Space Cases), Meego (A CBS Miller-Boyett sitcom that I imagine wouldn't hold up today and probably wasn't all that good in hindsight), and Disney's Inspector Gadget.

Same age as my cousin.
She will live on in The Adventures of Pete and Pete, that episode of CEIA, Buffy and so much more.

Liver transplant = body rejected the liver AFAIK.
