Alice Hirson, who played the mother of Bob Saget on the hit TV show Full House, has passed away at the age of 95. :\'(

This comes more than 3 years after Mr Saget passed away under mysterious circumstances. :-\\
She also had memorable roles on Dallas, as a confidante of Miss Ellie Ewing in 26 episodes, as well as daytime soaps such as One Life to Live (Eileen Siegel), General Hospital (Mrs. Van Gelder), and Loving (Dr. Lisa Helman). She also played Catherine Hicks' mother on 7th Heaven from 1996 to 2006. Hirson's real-life husband, Stephen Elliott, was on set with her on Dallas, playing attorney Scotty Demerest. 8)

She must’ve only played Grandma Tanner in the first season. The character reappeared in the season three episode “Granny Tannie”, but a different actress played the role that time (namely the late Doris Roberts, who would eventually go on to play the mother of Ray Romano’s character in Everybody Loves Raymond).
Anyways, RiP to Alice Hirson. :\'(
