Longtime owner of the Chicago Bears, Virginia Halas McCaskey, daughter of legendary Bears figure George Halas, has passed away all too soon, at the age of 102. :\'(

McCaskey served as the owner of the Bears since Oct. 31, 1983, with the passing of her father and team patriarch, George “Papa Bear” Halas.
During my stint in Chicago, Virginia’s Bears won the Super Bowl with colorful players like William “Refrigerator” Perry and Jim McMahon, the ‘punky QB’. 8)
