I loved her in Young Frankenstein. She stole so many scenes from Gene Wilder, Mary Feldman and Cloris Leachman. I loved her German accent.

So sad. She was in a lot of great movies, Young Frankenstein, Close Encounters, & Tootsie to name a few.
If you want a feel good movie, one of her sleeper movie is Let it Ride. I don't understand why it is a sleeper because it has an all-star cast. Besides Teri Garr, it has Richard Dryfess, Robbie Coltrain, Cynthia Nixon, Michelle Phillips (of the Mamas & the Papas) and those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head. I haven't watched it several years but I think it is time to watch it again. Like I said, it is a feel good movie-very light hearted.
