A legend of my generation! Aside from the Grateful Dead he played bass on many classic things like David Crosby's "Laughing", one of the single best things Crosby ever did. Graham Nash's classic "I Used To Be A King", which Nash plays in concert to this day, and Paul Kantner's "Blows Against the Empire", one of the single best albums in the history of recorded music. "Blows" was also nominated for the prestigious science fiction writer's Hugo Award.
RIP Phil Lesh! The music plays on!
