Veteran French actress Christine Boisson, who shot to fame in the starring role of the 1974 hit film Emmanuelle has passed away at the age of 68 due to lung disease. :\'(

I remember watching Emanuelle on either HBO or Cinemax late night hours.

In the interest of accuracy, she is billed sixth in the IMDB credits for the movie. Hardly the star or co-star. Whatever her role, when people think of Emannuelle they think of Sylvia Kristel.
