Jack Russell, founder and lead singer of 80s hair band Great White, has passed away after battling multiple system atrophy and Lewy body dementia. He was 63. :\'(

Great White owned airwaves in the late 80s, with hits like Once Bitten, Twice Shy. But it all came crashing down in 2003, when their pyrotechnic special effects burned a Rhode Island nightclub to the ground, killing 100 fans and injuring another 230. :\'(

My cousin was diagnosed with Lewy Body last year. I never heard of it until his wife told me and I had to look it up. It is related to Parkinson's.

"Once Bitten Twice Shy" was written by the legendary Ian Hunter, lead singer of Mott the Hoople, and it appears as the opening track on his debut solo album from 1975, also called "Ian Hunter". THAT'S the version to check out. :-*
