Subject: Legendary actor/comedian Martin Mull dies at 80
Written By: Voiceofthe70s on 06/28/24 at 8:33 pm
I go way back with Martin Mull. People may know him from "Roseanne" and the like, but I remember when he was a guitar playing comedian who sat in an easy chair on a stage set up like a living room, and his comedy records used to get played on my local hippie underground radio stations in the early 70s. A true original.

How sad. I remember America 2-Night. Never did get into Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman.
And I loved him in Clue.

I always confused him with Richard Moll.
Mull and Moll are two different sounding last names.

I guess the last line is kind of ironic.

My introduction to Martin Mull unknowingly was the 1990 film Ski Patrol, which I saw in theatres and thought was super funny. Then he shows up on Roseanne, then I saw him in reruns of Fernwood/America 2-Night, but one of his most cheesiest roles, which he even had admitted, was an episode of Wonder Woman where he played a rock star who hypnotizes his groupies into stealing the profits from his concert venues
