Shifty was frontman of Crazy Town, with their hit Butterfly. :\'(
Later on he was on two seasons of Celebrity Rehab and two seasons of its post-recovery venture, Sober House.

This article suggests that the Celebrity Rehab cast may have been cursed, what with 11 cast members who have checked out.

I’m not so sure. They all got onto CR for being drug addicts, and most of the cast deaths have involved drug use.

The New York Post reports that Shifty expired due to an “accidental” combination overdose of illicit and prescription drugs.

At some point for a severe addict, “accidental” is an inappropriate description. ‘inevitable” would be more accurate.

I never know why it's always "accidental" when they should know as to how many doses that he/she should take. ::)

Addicts are always looking for a higher high, so they tend to take ever-increasing amounts of dope. Until the day they go too far.

I knew him best for Crazy Town's Butterfly and the Paul Oakenfold song Starry Eyed Surprise. Both songs are still fantastic to this day!
