Celebrated Florida rapper Julio Foolio (real name, Charles Jones) was gunned down at his own 26th birthday party, apparently in an ambush.  :\'(

Foolio was no stranger to gunplay. He was previously shot at during violent incidents in 2023, 2021 and in 2020. :-\\

Here's a timeline of known incidents the late rapper has been a part of.

February 2019 - Foolio started gaining attention when his brother, another Jacksonville rapper who went by 'Bibby,' was killed at an apartment complex in Moncrief.

July 2020 - The rapper was shot in Houston.

November 2021 - Foolio was shot in Riverside while getting out of a car - famously posting during his recovery stating, “Y’all miss 100 shots.” ;D

April 2022 - He was arrested for illegal tinted windows and fleeing police during a traffic stop.

October 2023 - Foolio was shot in the foot on 18th Street in Jacksonville. Police said it “appeared suspects were waiting for him and ambushed.”

He was huge in Florida. Somebody musta had a serious beef with him because the crime scene photo I saw on the web showed 11 bullet holes in his car’s windshield. (This on top of the other 3 times he was shot in the past few years).

Rapper Yungeen Ace has dropped a new track, dissing Foolio even in death. >:(

Yungeen Ace dropped the song "Game Over" on June 28. The title already carries with it extremely grim connotations. The bars are even worse. "Dead on the floor, dead on arrival, Mr. 6. I'm steady screamin' out, "F*ck the long, f*ck the 6," Ace raps. "Four in the car and one of them dead, three got hit. I told them n**gas they don't want no war with this sh*t." This is where plausible deniability goes out the proverbial window. Foolio was one of four passengers in a car when he was killed. Foolio's set is 6 Block. The number is littered throughout the entire song. Yungeen Ace isn't even trying to be subliminal. "Game Over" literally starts with the rapper saying: "Y'all know I smoke dead people, man, you know what I'm sayin'? And I smoke 6, haha."

If Ace doesn’t watch out, he could end up in the slam for Folio’s death. And the boyz in GenPop will not be friendly to him.  :o

At a press conference on Thursday afternoon, Chief Lee Bercaw said Alicia Andrews, 21; Isaiah Chance, 21 and Sean Gathright, 18, are in custody in Jacksonville for their involvement. Rashad Murphy, 30, and Davion Murphy, 27, have warrants out for their arrest.

Florida authorities are considering pursuing the death penalty :o against Foolio’s assailants.

The state confirmed it is considering the death penalty in the Tampa murder case involving five suspects accused in the shooting death of Jacksonville rapper, Charles Jones.

Rashad Murphy, 30, Isaiah Chance, 21, Alicia Andrews, 21, and Sean Gathright, 18, have all been charged with first-degree murder. They’re accused of traveling from Jacksonville to Tampa to carry out the deadly shooting near USF in what investigators have described as an ongoing gang war. 

Adding to the intrigue, Ms. Andrews is now preggo.

A fifth suspect has been arrested and charged in Foolio’s murder.
