Subject: 2 Live Crew Takes a Hit - Brother Marquis Gone at 58

Legendary 2 Live Crew rapper Brother Marquis (real name, Mark D. Ross) has expired at the age of 58. :\'(. No cause or location of death has been released, but fowl play is not suspected though.

Back in the day, the Crew was at the top of the rap game, with their landmark album As Nasty as They Wanna Be which was chock full of explicit lyrics and initially got them into plenty of trouble. 2 Live Crew kept things real with their raps, unlike today’s “rappers” who drone on about some chick named “shorty”.
I won’t bother to post any links to 2 Live Crew’s videos because they’d almost be guaranteed to violate InThe00s terms of service. ???

A lot of their songs were all full of sex and they were a part of the hardcore rap culture. :o RIP Marquis. :\'(
