All I can say is W :-[ W! This is what? The fourth hit that Second City Toronto has taken on its cast? I really adored Joe Flaherty. He and Eugene Levy used to feed off of each other's energy as Floyd Robertson and Earl Camembert.

I loved Count Floyd. Also memorable as the Western Union Man who gave Marty Doc's 70-year-old letter. RIP.

As a kid, watching SCTV, I had no idea he wasn't born in Canada, and didn't learn that until many decades later.

As a kid, watching SCTV, I had no idea he wasn't born in Canada, and didn't learn that until many decades later.
Joe considered himself to be an honorary Canadian. It was something that he prided himself on. SCTV and four of its cast members, John Candy, Martin Short, Eugene Levy, Catherine O'Hara, and Andrea Martin, were all honoured with a star on Canada's Walk of Fame. I wish I could visit the Walk of Fame and take photos of their stars. Plus Eugene Levy just recently was honoured with a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame. I wonder if Joe will get a star on Canada's Walk of Fame posthumously. He certainly will deserve it.
