Legendary pop crooner (and hubby to Edyie Gormé) Steve Lawrence has left the world stage at the age of 88, due to the effects of dementia.  :\'(

Back in the day, Steve was a fixture on the pop charts with fare such as Go Away Little Girl, The Banana Boat Song, I’ve Gotta Be Me, and much much more.

Here’s a video where Steve and Edyie are celebrated along with Frank Sinatra, Billy Idol, Sineaid O’Connor, and Luther Campbell: 8)
