Legendary Canuck drummer Fritz Hinz, who played drums for the Canadian hard rock band Helix, has passed away at the age of 68 from cancer. :\'(

Back in ‘84, Helix, powered by Fritz’ awesome drum work, dominated the Canadian airwaves with their hit, Rock You. 8)

Helix were perhaps best known to US audiences for that 1984 hit Rock You, but here in their homeland, they had a few popular hits in the 80s and early 90s. My favourite is still Deep Cuts the Knife from 1985
