Henry Fambrough, the only remaining surviving original member of the Motown great group The Spinners has passed away at the age of 85. :\'(

The Spinners dominated the airwaves from way back in 1954 until well through the 1990s, crooning classic hits such as I’ll Be Around, Could it Be I’m Falling in Love, Then Came You (with Dionne Warwick :-*), Games People Play, and a seemingly endless list of other hits.
End of an era for sure. :\'(

My favorite Spinners songs are "I'll be Around" and the theme from Spaceballs. I first heard "I'll Be Around" at Six Flags Elitches on the last day of school in 2000. Spaceballs had already become a favorite of mine, and come to find out, the theme song was radically stylistically different from the rest of The Spinners' repertoire. I hear this song at some point and end up loving it. Luckily for me, the song is a classic and won't just disappear from my life. (It took me almost 20 years to find "Popcorn" by Gershon Kingsley/Hot Butter after hearing it in a commercial once. But that was an instrumental.)
I've heard a few other Spinners songs, but I always gravitate back to "I'll Be Around."

"I'll Be Around" and "Could It Be I'm Falling In Love" (both hits in 1972) readily come to mind for me.
