Subject: Herbert Coward Had A Real Purty Mouth

Character actor Herbert Coward, legendary for his portrayal as “Toothless Man” in the 70s adventure flick Deliverance, has passed away at the age of 85 in a car crash. :\'( His girlfriend, his chihuahua, and pet squirrel also perished in the crash.

Herb’s signature line in the flick was ”He got a purty mouth, ain’t he?” when he and co-star Bill McKinney were portraying hillbillies out to abuse Ned Beatty. The scene was unforgettable and it easily was Ned Beatty’s most memorable one, much to his chagrin. :-X
