Subject: Late Report: Kristin Jeannette-Meyers

Not sure how we missed this here at InThe00s, but back last July at the age of 57, Kristin Jeannette-Meyers, who made her bones covering the CourTV coverage of the OJ Simpson Murder Trial and the Lorena Bobbitt episode, passed away. A coroner’s report said that the death was due to combined effects of Xanax and Suboxone. :-\\

On the heels of the OJ Simpson coverage, CBS came calling and bought out her contract from CourTV and put her on the CBS Morning News. She left after a few years and more or less went into oblivion, career-wise.
Apparently she had been dead for six weeks before she was discovered at her house, which was described as run down and filthy with cat feces. :-\\
