Kuwait's leader Sheikh Emir Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah has died at the age of 86, Kuwaiti state TV announced.

The crown prince, 83-year-old Sheikh Mishal al-Ahmad al-Sabah, has been named as his successor.
I had been hoping that Sheik Yerbouti was going to take over.
