Legendary TV character actor Richard Moll, who hit it big as the character Aristotle Nostradamus “Bull” Shannon on Night Court, has passed away at the age of 80. :\'(

Moll was not involved with the Larroquette-toplined Night Court reboot that returned to NBC for the 2022-23 season.

Most of the main characters of Night Court have punched out. :\'(

Harry Anderson (Judge Stone) bit it in 2018
Charles Robinson (Mac) checked out in 2021
Markie Post :-* (Christine Sullivan) died in 2021
Charlotte Portnoy (stenographer) croaked in 2001 (she was 97 :o)
And Selma Diamond (the Bailiff) only made it thru two seasons, passing in 1985

The other (younger) stenographer, Lysette is still alive. She was the ditzy one. Most of the familiar side characters are still alive: Will Utay (Phil/Will), Mike Finneran (Art the maintenance man), John Astin.

Marsha Warfield actually did guest star.

I loved watching Night Court reruns. The first time I saw Richard Moll with a full head of hair and everyone was telling me it was Bull, I myself was thinking "bull." ;D "That's not Bull! He's bald!"

Reboots barely work in this day and age, probably best to just leave it be.

I wouldn't be so sure, Bob & June Wheeler appeared before Abby Stone near the end of Season 2, just as they did before her Dad.
Could a reappearance of Yakov, Leon, or Craven be on the books for this year?
