Subject: Musician Sixto Rodriguez Dies at 81

Detroit musician Sixto Rodriguez, known professionally as Rodriguez, has died at age 81. Unbeknownst to himself, Rodriguez achieved enormous fame in South Africa in the pre-internet age, while he worked as a laborer in his home city of Detroit. In 2012 an Academy Award winning documentary "Searching for Sugar Man" was made about him, which brought his name and music to far more people. This guy was really cool. A true hippie. And he lived pretty much his entire adult life in a broken down house in Detroit he bought for $50 at a government auction in 1970.
