Subject: Family Reunion: Ed Ames Joins His Brothers In the Hereafter
Written By: Indy Gent on 05/27/23 at 1:01 am
Ed Ames, the last surviving member of the talented Ames Brothers, has finally bit the Big One on May 21 at 95. He was a great singer and actor. He was best known for playing Dingo in the TV series, Daniel Boone. His hits included "My Cup Runneth Over". His axe throwing on Tonight Show with Johnny Carson is the stuff of legends. (where Ames threw it near the manhood of the drawn body). He will be greatly missed.
