On the heels of Jim Brown’s demise, celebrated rock lyricist Pete Brown has passed away at the age of 82. :\'(

Pete rose to fame writing lyrics for the power rock supergroup Cream, penning tunes such as Sunshine of Your Love and White Room. 8)
With Pete’s passing, Eric Clapton is the only key figure of Cream that is on our side of the grass. Bassist Jack Bruce died in 2014 and drummer Ginger Baker bit it in 2019. Forty years ago, producer Felix Pappalardi was shot to death by his wife Gail Collins Pappalardi (a weak New York justice system let her off the hook) ; both of them wrote the lyrics to Strange Brew; Collins was found deceased in Jalisco Mexico in 2013. So only Clapton carries on the Cream brand.
