He was a composer extraordinaire, penning many hits of my growing up era. Sad to say goodbye :\'( :\'( :\'(

He wrote so many great songs that have lived on through cover versions and they were so beautifully written, anyone with a voice could do them justice! R.I.P. to a great composer.

Perhaps his finest composition was the 19th song The Blob, from the film of the same name. 8)
