Stephen Boss, the producer and DJ of The Ellen Degeneres Show, died of an apparent suicide at the age of 40. He was likely despondent over losing his job or fear of not finding more work. He seemed to have a close knit kinship with Ellen. He leaves behind a wife, Alison. RIP, 'twitch'.

She did marry Anne Heche.

And look what happened to her. The Ellen curse continues. By the way, they were never technically married, that was just a ruse. It seems very little about Ellen is actually legit.

Now I see what you mean. I just looked up the cast of The Ellen Show which only had 18 episodes back in ‘01 and ‘02. Cast members Mary Tyler Moore, Betty White, Tom Poston, John Ritter, and Cloris Leachman are all on the wrong side of the grass. It’s almost as bad as Hogan’s Heroes.
