Aussie actor Vince Gil, renowned for his role of Nightrider in the original Mad Max movie, has left the world stage at the age of 83. :\'( No cause of death has been released.

Vince burst in the scene in MM, with his character Nightrider being killed when Max ran him off the road when Nightrider was making off with a stolen “Pursuit Special”. . ‘Nightrider’s” motorbike gang then ran riot in a town after his death, vandalising property, stealing fuel, and terrorising the populace. 8)

Now this guy I’m not too familiar with, but I know that he’s not to be confused with country music superstar Vince Gill who is still very much alive at 65.

The actor spells his name with only one L, and began his career way back in the 60s.

...while the singer was still a kid, and not publicly known yet.
However, to be fair, I have heard of the film Mad Max, but haven't viewed it.
