I hear that they have already had a reading of Tony’s last Will and testament.

It simply read “I leave it to Beaver”.

It’s too bad what has happened to the LITB cast. Ward Cleaver, June Cleaver, Eddie Haskell, Lumpy Rutherford, “Whitey” Whitney, and now Wally Cleaver have all gone to that Great Sound Stage in the Sky.  :-\\

Beaver Cleaver is the only main cast member left these days.

Yes, it is a shame 65 years has gone by since the show made it's debut and the cast has succumbed to something called, uh, mortality.  ::)

So there is still hope he'll at least live longer.

This same mishap happened with Tom Petty. Although he died shortly after it was announced he was still alive after it was announced that he died.

There was a time when news outlets would conclusively confirm all sources before announcing anybody was dead. No longer, it seems.

Fidel Castro was reported as being in grave condition, but he survived another 5 or 6 years, I believe.

The article LB linked to says his wife told his management team. You might expect his wife to know whether he is dead or not?

Tony’s death has really been hard on the Beaver.  :-\\

We used to watch reruns of this, I don't think I watched it when it was originally aired, slightly too young :D . But maybe I did watch? I can't remember,
Another actor from my childhood gone, they are certainly piling up!

Leave It To Beaver was such a great, iconic show and Tony Dow was great  :\'(  :\'(  :\'(

Lumpy Rutherford was only 71. Ward Cleaver was 73.  Eddie Haskell was 76. Whitey Whitney passed on his 53rd birthday. Principal Cornelia Rayburn was 74. Teacher Miss Landers was 49.

So by LITB standards, Tony did pretty good.
