Legendary Scottish rock guitarist Manny Charlton, co-founder of the band Nazareth, has passed away at the age of 80. :\'(

Manny and Nazareth (while a Scottish band, it was named after the town of Nazareth, Pennsylvania) got things together in 1968, but their big hit was Love Hurts, a cover version of an Everly Brothers song, which dominated the airwaves in 1975. It was Manny who supplied the cool guitar licks for that recording. 8)
