“Hair” officially opened on Broadway at the Biltmore Theatre — now the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre — on April 29, 1968, and featured stars-to-be Diane Keaton and Melba Moore. The show ran a total of 1,750 performances. 8)

I just saw the ad that had Nina Symone's version of "I've Got My Life". RIP, Mr. Rado.
