Saskatchewan singer Susan Jacks has died at the age of 73. She was best known as a singer in the band The Poppy Family with her then husband Terry "Seasons in the Sun" Jacks. From 1968-1973, they charted several hits in the US and Canada, including Which Way You Goin, Billy? which in 1969, reached the Top 10 in both countries. As a solo artist, she charted several hits in Canada between 1973-1984, but reached the US Hot 100 only once with You're A Part of Me which peaked at #90 in 1976.
My two favourites were All the Tea in China in 1980 and Evergreen in 1981, both A/C Top 20 hits in Canada and both beautiful songs!

The girl with golden hair and a golden voice. Arguably the greatest female voice in Canadian pop music history.
I enjoyed so many Poppy Family songs. None more than this one.
