Bat Out Of Hell is one of my all time favorite albums. It reminds me of my sophomore year in high school. I will always think of my high school French teacher whenever I hear "On a hot summer night, would you offer your throat to the wolf with the red roses?" right before the song "You Took The Words Right Out Of My Mouth." I belonged to the French club and one time when our meeting was over, it was too late to catch the "late bus" so the teacher offered to drive a couple of us home. He had the album playing in his car and when that part came on, he made a comment about how you can just picture him ravishing her. 

I was so jealous when a friend of mine went to see him in concert that year. But, I did get to see him in concert during his Back In Hell tour. I have to say, he put on ONE HELL OF SHOW!

Last night when I went downstairs for dinner, the "chef" made meatloaf. I looked at him and said, "That is very appropriate." He looked at me wondering what I was referring to. Then it hit him. We laughed because it wasn't planned but it was an appropriate meal in his honor.
