Legendary bombshell actress Yvette Mimieux, star of classic fare such as the Time Machine and The Black Hole, as well as the 1976 women-in-prison film, Jackson County Jail has passed away at the age of 80, reportedly of ‘natural causes’. :\'(

Nominated for no less than three Golden Globe awards, whenever a production included the lovely Yvette :-*, men rushed to see her on the silver screen. 8)
Mimieux made six movies before she was 21 and gained a reputation for portraying “sensitive” roles. “I suppose I had a soulful quality. I was often cast as a wounded person,” she once said.

It's odd, before I heard the news about Yvette Mimieux, I had just been thinking about that movie "The Time Machine". :o
