Ronnie Wilson, one of the founders of the legendary funk group The GAP Band, has passed away at the age of 73. :\'(

Ronnie and his brothers Charlie Wilson and Robert Wilson founded the funky group down in Tulsa OK, with the enthusiastic support of Leon Russell and his Shelter Records outfit.
In their heyday, the GAP band churned out hit after hit, including Humpin’, Burn Rubber on Me, You Dropped a Bomb on Me, Party Train, Jam The Motha, and much, much more. 8)
With Ronnie’s passing this leaves Vharlie as the sole surviving member of the group. :-\\
