Legendary sitcom actor Peter Scolari, who rose to fame in the TV series Bosom Buddies, and then later in Newhart, has passed away due to cancer at the age of 66. :\'(

BB has also lost actress Wendy Jo Sperber and Lucille Benson prematurely as well. :-\\

So sad. I loved him in Bosom Buddies and in Newhart. He also did a FABULOUS production with Stephanie Zimbalist of Stop The World I Want to Get Off (written by Leslie Bricusse-who we just lost & Anthony Newley). I was hoping to find a video of it on YouTube but can't find one. :\'( I THINK I might have recorded it (on VHS) when it was on t.v. I really should find a copy of it.

Yes, he made an appearance as the host of the Hollywood Showcase that the band appears on. His Bosom Buddies costar Tom Hanks had a major role in said film.
