Sad to say goodbye to actress Betty Lynn, who played Thelma Lou (Barney Fife's girlfriend) on the Andy Griffith Show. She was 95. :\'( :\'( :\'(

I started to post this thread before the screen froze and I couldn't finish it.
As far as I know, she was the last surviving adult character on TAGS, now Ron Howard and some of the kids who played Opie's friends are the only ones still living. RIP, Thelma Lou. :\'(

The cast of TAGS as well as spin-off Mayberry RFD certainly have had a rough go at things. :-\\
