Subject: Willie Garson Leaves The City
Written By: Doc Brown on 09/22/21 at 1:52 pm
Character actor Willie Garson succumbed to cancer Tuesday. Despite being only 57, he left behind a 35-year film and television career.
He was probably best recognized as Stanford Blatch on "Sex And The City", Mozzie on "White Collar" or Gerard Hirsch on "Hawaii Five-0" and "Magnum, P.I."
To put a face with the name, here he is garnering laughs in the movie "Fever Pitch":

Although the often played openly gay characters, Mr. Garson was openly straight.
