Subject: Book Him, Danno - Al Harrington Gone at 85

Legendary TV actor Al Harrington (originally named Tausau Ta'a as he was born in Pago Pago) has passed away at the age of 85. :\'( Al made his bones in TV fame playing the role of Detective Ben Kokua in the original run of Hawaii Five-0.

Al did not come onto HF0 until 1972, when he replaced actor Zulu (who played the role of Kono). 8)
He may be the last of the big cast members who was left. Kam Fong (as Chin Ho) bit it in 2002. Jack Lord (Steve McGarrett) in 1988, Zulu (as Kono) in 2004, Harry Endo (as Che Fong, interesting casting of a Japanese as a Chinese character) in 2009, James MacArthur (Danno) in 2010, Richard Denning (as the Governor of Hawaii) in 1998, and Herman Wedemeyer (as Duke) in 1999. And of course the legendary Khigh Dhiegh (born in New Jersey as Kenneth Dickerson ;D), who played the awesome role of the diabolical Chinese agent, Wo Fat, croaked in 1991.
End of an era.

Jack Lord died in 1998.
